A group of amateur photographers are set to unveil their work in a specially organised exhibition, ‘Largs Lenses Together,’ during this year’s Viking Festival.
After sharpening their camera skills, members of Largs-based Blue Kiwi Photography Club have each chosen one of their own images to display.
James McKinlay, owner of Blue Kiwi Photography, designed photography workshops to teach novices how to make the most of their cameras and is looking forward to showing off the club’s efforts.
“It’s been exciting to see everyone learn how to use their equipment properly and see their confidence grow.
“We’ve had loads of amazing images to choose from and Vikingar offers the perfect lighting to display them.
“We’re really looking forward to showing everyone what we’ve been working on and celebrating our beautiful scenery.”
The exhibition of images taken across the UK will open on Saturday 27 August for several weeks.
