With Largs set to take centre stage over the coming weeks with the Viking Festival, volunteers did their bit to give visitors a fresh perspective when visiting these shores.
Largs Community Council would like to thank those members of the public who helped to clean the beach promenade and grassed area at Broomfields in preparation for the festival which which begins this Saturday.
Organised by Patricia and James Perman local volunteers were also joined by representatives from Largs Community Resilience Team, local MP and MSP Patricia and Kenneth Gibson and campaigners from the Save the Gretas group.
Largs Community Council had 13 volunteers and collected 20 bags of rubbish. Thanks also to Helen Millar of NAC Streetscene for supplying the equipment and her staff's help and support.
