Your recent photo in the news of a jet skier at Largs fails to address the problem of the possible damage they could be doing to the environment.
Bikes are approaching the shoreline to basically show off their moves and skills but are they aware of the wildlife that may be in their vicinity?
At this time of year, ducklings, cygnets, to name just a few.
On the Mediterranean coastline a 300-metre no-go zone is mandatory, with marked buoys in place, is it not time North Ayrshire Council adopted the same policy to safeguard wildlife in our area?
