Torrential rain is causing flooding issues on roads on the west coast of Scotland today.

McGill's Buses has suspended all Inverclyde bus services due to widespread flooding caused by the extreme rainfall, while trains between Largs/Wemyss Bay and Glasgow have also suffered severe disruption. 

A big rock night in Largs involving punk rock band Fire Exit 1977 Now and Filthy White Suit has been cancelled at Sharps Bar on Saturday evening, as had the big Skelmorlie Barnhouse Scout fundraiser.

The Cafe Riva in Inverkip, run by the Nardini family, have already announced its closing its doors for the day. 
The cafe stated on their Facebook page: "We are at the cafe just now but access routes in and out of Inverkip are precarious and looks like they'll worsen. In order that we can all safely get home the cafe will remain closed for today. We re-open at 10am tomorrow (Sunday). We apologise for any inconvenience caused."
Inverclyde Council state the following: "The A78 Bankfoot Roundabout is also affected by flooding due to the heavy and prolonged rainfall overnight and continuing this morning."

An Amey spokesperson said: "The A78 Bankfoot Roundabout Southbound carriageway is currently closed in both directions due to flooding."

Sport has also been affected with Largs Thistle's Scottish Cup tie at Ashfield postponed while Skelmorlie Golf Course has closed for the day. 
 

The Main road (East Hamilton Street) from Greenock to Port Glasgow is a total closure due to flooding.

The Amber weather warning remains in place until 6am tomorrow, Sunday.
