Largs Players is bringing its one-act show It's Behind You to Barrfields Theatre in March.
The production will be the first airing for the play before it goes in front of a judging panel at the Scottish Community Drama Association (SCDA) One Act Play Festival.
The one-act play by Alan McHugh stars well-known local performers Matthew Wilkin and Danny Lindsay.
It is directed by Maggie Cunningham and will be coming to the Largs stage on March 2, starting at 7.30pm.
In a theatre dressing room shared by the famous panto double act of Norrie and Nicky, a panto dame and silly boy costar, the play tells the story of comedy and tragedy in equal measure.
One of their stars is fading, while the other is on the rise.
The curtain has just fallen on the evening's performance, and years of bitterness, jealousy and grudges boil over, threatening to end the relationship, both on and offstage.
Tickets are on sale now for the presentation of the SCDA one-act festival entry at www.largsplayers.co.uk
