THERE'S a spring in the step of Cumbrae Garden Club members as they prepare for their next meeting.
The club will be meeting at the lounge of the Newton Bar on Thursday February 15 at 7pm, when Jane Fleming will be providing a talk on 'spring wreaths'.
All green-fingered enthusiasts are welcome to come along, even if they are not members.
The club has been running on the island since 1950, and runs events from October to May, with meetings held regularly on the third Thursday of the month.
Non-members can join on the night, and annual membership is £10.
