A YOUNG band from Millport are performing their first gig in Glasgow tonight.
Four students of Largs Academy created an alternative rock band VICE after there was a lack of music opportunities for teenagers in the area.
The group is made up of guitar and lead singer Strath Ferguson, bass player Carrick Ferguson, and guitar player Dylan Docherty - all from Millport - and on drums Derren Milligan from Largs.
VICE have thier own original songs, but also have covered huge hits by iconic bands such as Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Radiohead and MisFits after being inspired by rock legends from the 1980s and 1990s.
The band will be playing at the Classic Grand Lounge in Glasgow on Wednesday, February 14 as part of the venue's midweek showcase of top-up-and-coming talent from the surrounding areas.
