The Seamill House Hotel in West Kilbride has announced it is re-opening this weekend.

In a post on their Facebook page, with the headline 'We are back!', a statement reads that the hotel, which closed suddenly last month, is re-opening afresh.

The hotel closed down suddenly at the end of January with the loss of 30 jobs, with management admitting they were "devastated" at the decision.

The statement, which was posted online at 2.25pm on Friday, stated: "We have some amazing news to bring to you all! We will be reopening as of TOMORROW.

"With new and old faces returning to serve all of our amazing customers.

"We are having a soft opening this weekend, which means a reduced menu for both food and drinks although I am extremely positive we will have all of your favorites back in stock for you!

"So we are officially inviting all of our old and new customers back to help us celebrate over the weekend and help us ease into this transition as smoothly as possible.

"Online bookings for the hotel and reservations are now open!

"For any one looking to speak to anyone via telephone or email, i will be available from 5pm tonight to answer all of your questions."
