AN APPEAL has been issued to former Cumbrae Queens ahead of a 60th anniversary celebration for the popular local event.
North Ayrshire Council's heritage service and the Cumbrae Queen Committee are planning an exhibition at Garrison House in Millport to mark the big occasion.
The display will take place from April to June.
Any former Queens, page boys, maids or past committee members who have any Cumbrae Queen related objects that they'd be willing to lend to the exhibition organisers for display is being asked to get in touch with NAC exhibitions officer Louis Allan.
Louise can be contacted on lallan@north-ayrshire.gov.uk or by phone on 01294 464174.
Alternatively you can pop in and see Gail Murphy at Pots and Pets.
A spokesperson said: "We're thinking of any pieces of costume or bits of memorabilia from your experience as Cumbrae royalty!
"All objects loaned will be returned when the exhibition is finished. Here are a few photos of Cumbrae Queens to jog your memory!"
