A LARGS environmental project is holding a fund-raising race night in town this weekend.
The Douglas Park Project's event, with a theme of 'flower power' takes place at Halkshill Bowling Club on Saturday, March 30.
Organisers say they hope that the community can get behind the fund-raiser in the same way as they've embraced the new look to Douglas Park over recent years.
The Douglas Park Project has been one of the major success stories of the town as volunteers have come together to help restore the park and create a beautiful space for walking, picnicking, relaxing, exercising and enjoying, and hope to carry on their exciting plans going forward with help from the community.
