A FREE taste of the beauty of Bute - in liquid form - is on offer at a special tasting event in Largs this weekend.
Geraldo's Gift Shop in Largs is offering tastes of Braw Liquor Club's cocktails, including the newest edition to the Braw Liquor Club family - the West Coast Margarita, made with salt from Blackthorn Salt in Ayr.
Braw Liquor Club, based on Bute, produces small batch cocktails using premium Scottish ingredients.
Founder Lizzie Mackirdy, who hails from the island and returned from London to live in Rothesay during the Covid lockdown, says she is "on a mission to make cocktails better without cutting corners on quality, using Scottish ingredients from land and sea, sourced with transparency".
The company's Whisky Old Fashioned with Sea Tangle won a gold accolade at the Scottish Retail Food and Drink Awards 2022.
The event runs in Geraldo's Gift Shop in Main Street from 1-5pm on Saturday, March 30. No booking required.
