Hardy volunteers made the best of it as they overcome windy weather conditions for the latest Largs beach clean.

Despite having to finish earlier than hoped due to increasing winds, an impressive line up of nearly 50 people turned out for the event at the weekend.

Across the three meeting points, a total of 36 bags of rubbish were removed from the seaside which goes to show you what can be achieved with good teamwork.

A spokesperson for Largs Beach Clean said: "We cannot thank you enough for all your work.

"You are all litter picking stars - and great connections were made for future development."
