A retail worker in Largs suffered 'threatening abuse' during a shocking incident which took place in the town centre.
Police confirmed that a staff member in a Main Street premises was subjected to 'threatening and abusive behaviour' on March 28.
An arrest was subsequently made in relation to the incident, and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
The incident was contained within the monthly police report of statistics handed to Largs Community Council.
