PUPILS at a primary school in Largs have been getting into the spirit for the Euro 2024 tournament this summer.

The St Mary's Primary pupils donned their football kits for a kickaround away from the classroom as excitement builds for the start of the competition in Germany in June.

Youngsters were certainly getting into the mood at football sessions provided by KA Leisure in the gym hall within Largs Campus, and great fun was had by all.

With the big football tournament just a month or so away from getting underway, the youngsters were certainly excited about the prospect of some football fun at school to show off their skills.

A school spokesperson said: "The primary class had a Super Soccer Session thanks to Liam from KA Leisure.

"To help us celebrate the upcoming Euros, Liam supported the children by working on a variety of football skills with them.

"Then children were also asked to choose three Scotland players to add to St Mary’s very own Euro 2024 Dream Team."
