Largs Colts 2006s kicks off their new 2016/17 season on Thursday 18 August at Bowencraig following our summer training sessions.

Their first league game is on Sunday 21st August and are away against Bonnyton Thistle.

The 2006 Colts also carried out a sponsored cycle around The Isle of Cumbrae just before the summer break. The boys and parents did great and helped raise a fantastic amount. This will be put towards new winter training jackets for the boys.

The Colts also had an end of year awards ceremony where had the 1st Annual "Eddie Mrozinski Challenge Cup". The 2006s Colts played against a team of coaches, parents and guardians. It was a great success with the 2006 boys "narrowly" winning 4-3!

The of the year awards went to Ryan Cairns (Red Squad) & Thomas Connick (Blue Squad). and the most improved player of the year awards went to Joshua Freel (Red Squad) & Rhys Franchetti (Blue Squad)

The club would like to thank sponsor Gordon Paterson of local business GP Handyman Services for his continued support.

The coaches all look forward to seeing everyone at training!

* The first training academy session of the Largs Colts "Kickers", took place on Wednesday 10 August at Largs Academy, and was a massive success. Over 40 boys and girls born in 2008, 2009 & 2010 together with parents/guardians turned out in the pouring rain for an hour of football fun.

Due to the high levels of attendance, the 2009 & 2010 year groups are now closed to new registrations with a waiting list now in place. They are still recruiting for the 2008 year group.

Thank you to all the new coaches and volunteers who have come forward to help. This was a great response but more is still required. If you are interested in helping, please contact Kickers Admin through our Facebook page.
