Largs Thistle 3 Dalry Thistle 1
This may have been a meaningless game as neither team could qualify but it was a feisty affair with red cards, and spectacular goals amid high winds.

Robert Love notched his opening goal of the season in some style on 16 minutes when he latched on to a lofted ball from Creag Little to launch a diagonal half volley high into the top right corner of the net.

The Barrfields side looked to be comfortable after moving two goals up on 31 minutes as full-back Laurie McMaster cut in from the left hand side and struck a fast curling shot which took a nick off a defender before finishing in the roof of the net.

The visitors halved the deficit as a curling free kick from the right was caught in the wind, and finished in the top left corner of the net on 54 minutes. The goalscorer was Gillies.

Largs were reduced to ten men after McMaster got a second booking for kicking the ball away, and Thistle were really trying to get a third to put the game beyond doubt with Love again going close.

To Thistle's credit, they battled away, and after missing a few more gilt-edged opportunities, the ball fell to Matt Bennett who galloped clear of defenders and confidently chipped the outrushing Watson from 25 yards for a sparkling finish to round off the scoring.
However, there was still drama with Dalry's Craig Marshall given his marching orders after an off-the-ball incident in the dying minutes.
