Buoyant Largs Thistle are hoping to make it four wins on the spin as they visit top flight high flyers St Cadoc's this Saturday.
Stuart Davidson's side head to New Tinto Park on the crest of a wave following a 3-2 win at Clydebank on Saturday.
St Cadoc's, who groundshare with Benburb, made life difficult for Thistle as they battled for a point at Barrfields back in September, despite being reduced to 10 men after their keeper was sent off with just 35 minutes on the clock.
It took a second-half penalty from Will Sewell to spare Thistle's blushes against their newly-promoted visitors.
Big spending St Cadoc's boast some top quality talent including ex Motherwell and Morton striker Bob McHugh.
They sit in fourth spot in the West of Scotland Premier League, and have games in hand with which to catch league leaders Clydebank.
However, St Cadoc's go into Saturday's class off a surprise 3-0 defeat at relegation-threatened Arthurlie, and Thistle manager Stuart Davidson - who was a less than happy man after that draw at Barrfields five months ago - knows they'll be eager to bounce back.
Thistle manager Stuart Davidson said: "St Cadoc's have shown that they are a good team, and as we know, the Premier League is a high standard week after week, and we have to be at our best.
"We certainly aren't going to take anything for granted, and will be ready for the challenge."
Thistle's Cory Hughes is nursing a knock but should be okay for this weekend, while midfielder Stuart Faulds has been battling against the flu but still managed to play at the weekend, with assistant coach Andy Scott having also felt the ill effects over the past week.
Davidson, who has himself also overcome flu, said he was delighted with Thistle's performance at Clydebank as Largs won at Holm Park for the first time since 2019.
He said: "You could say we 'flu' out of the traps!
"It was a really good performance and we deserved it.
"It was closer than I would have liked at the end, as we had opportunities to extend our lead, and it was nervy after being two goals up twice, but we managed to see it out.
"I think the way we played frustrated Clydebank, as we made it difficult for them.
"It was a tidy finish from David Ramsay to give us the early lead, and a great shot from Jamie Martin which took a nick of one off their players to go 2-0 up.
"It was disappointing to concede the penalty as we switched off for a wee second to let them in behind us to allow them to half the deficit at half-time. I felt our performance merited the two goal cushion.
"And we had pushed bodies up just before we got the third goal, with Scott Adam quick to react to close down the keeper and score. We actually had chances to go 4-1 up.
"Quite a lot of the Bankies fans and management were not happy with their performance, but I think we deserve a lot of credit as that was very much down to how we played.
"Our players really stood up to a team challenging for the league and we defended very well.
"That is three really good results we have had in a row, and the boys have been tremendous."
The win saw Largs leapfrog Hurlford and Pollok to climb to ninth place in the Premier Division.
But Davidson says he's not paying too much attention to league positions, with his full focus now being on getting maximum points at St Cadoc's.
Davidson said what has particularly pleased him is that Largs have put in top displays against teams at both ends of the table - and is urging his side to carry on the momentum as they head to New Tinto Park for the second time in a few weeks, having missed a penalty in a 0-0 draw with Benburb last month.
"I felt that was a game we should have won," said Davidson, "but we want to go to New Tinto Park and get all three points this time.
"We need to be fully prepared as St Cadoc's have shown this season they they are a good footballing side. They are tough and well organised, so we need to be on our mettle."
